Paisley's Iconic Buildings is a collection of five prints from paintings of some significant buildings in Paisley. My artwork is your reminder of the extraordinary in the everyday landscape for people who have lived and worked ie spent their time in Paisley. As a painter, I hope to remind you of these often familiar icons from a slightly different perspective. Following a long tradition from the old masters they are 'decorated' with people or to use the formal term staffage. This I hope lets you inhabit the space as they do. A perspective you’ll not always see when you are out and about, but can easily place yourself in and cherish forever.
